The author, John J Geddes, has caught this reader by surprise, for he has written a beautiful story, while expertly playing with our emotions, so that we cannot turn away from the page, but remain staring at it as we wait for the words to fade back into a normal black on white existence again.
Thank you, Arthur - I think you liked the Horace poem - I thought a lyrical flourish at the end would provide a fitting closure - Mind you, I began with Pericles, so Maybe Horace provided the bow on the package :)
