The Silent Slithering
Snakes persist To slither their way into my minds gate: I will not grant them passage.
Lies reverberate through hissing tongues
red fire in their eyes the set of their corruption
Darkness persists to attack and condemn light , it attempts the impossible.
The sure audacity of the action makes me uneasy, but it does not phase me.
For only if I fall through a thousand shuttering moments of insanity shall I fall from grace, and seep into darkness.
Nothing can face me, for I am the light of a thousand candles in humanities dark night.
...But still the snakes persist.
