Thanks

On the brinking of sinking into the abyss. A closing of the curtain, a farewell for eternity. A scary proposition to avoid. I give thanks for what is. I acknowledge each moment as a gift, but with you still here it's Heaven. A brother and friend, every breath were both still here, a true joy. I watch as this breath animates this body and give thanks for life.
