My eyes beheld her. Wasn't much of a sight as I sized her up from gnarled toes up to blunt abdominal features and bulbous bags of fat drooping like dates, to her beauty-deserted faced, and finally resting on a head with a sparse distribution of hair follicles and a mastery in balancing a tray of agwalima(African cherry).

And her eyes. Something attractive. A platonic union of cataract and glaucoma. There was something deeper. Unfathomable.

Then she spoke. Authoritatively. Audaciously. Clear as water from a spring. "If you will remain angry with me, just let me have my novels, please." I looked to see the receiver of such queenly request. It's obvious the receiver wasn't appreciative of such impeccable English...
