I'd be lying if I said I wasn't very close to throwing my keyboard out of the window, along with myself shortly after.

It can be such a minor issue that it's hardly recognisable unless you type a lot. I spent so much time just pressing the key in various ways trying to figure out whether I was causing the issue; didn't even think about the fact that it could've just accumulated a bit of dust that's affecting presses.

Fortunately the alcohol is cheaper than buying a new switch and a soldering iron. That said, some keyboards might not even require a soldering iron, so if you do experience the same problem, check whether they're soldered in or not if alcohol fails.

If you get worked up and feel like throwing yourself out of the window after something minor like this, you should really consider meditation, my friend.Just kidding with you, although, not really. I seem to slowly but steadily start reaping the benefits of daily meditation. I hardly get stressed out by things these days.

By the way, this post reminded me of how dirty keyboards and even mouses (mice) could get back in the days (90s). I used to sometimes take whole keyboards apart, key by key, and clean them again and again. Since I started using laptops, I never needed to deal with these kinds of issues again but I can't say that it's always smooth sailing/ typing. But that is kind of like life, I guess.

Nice to see these different kinds of post of you every now and then.

Hope we can talk some film in the near future. Perhaps a movie night in Portugal later this year? ;>)

I definitely exaggerated a bit, though the thought of having to attempt to go through customer service lines and attempt to get a replacement (and wait several days for one) wasn't sounding exciting.

Meditation doesn't sound too bad, though. A recent fascination of mine is the lives of philosophers; what they experienced and how they came to their philosophies. I've been needing to get a few books to properly read through those philosophies a bit more, but I just haven't had the time due to insomnia and a major lack of motivation as of late.

These posts are basically my meditation at the moment, haha. You've probably noticed the times where I slowly ease up on the film posts and start writing more thoughtful things about life and etc.

I detest customer service lines.

Yeah man, meditation is an added value to (your) my life. What you're saying about philosophers makes me think of a book that I got/ read: Zen and the Art of Walking. It's about all kinds of creative thinkers who needed their daily walks to form their ideas. Pretty much like me.

Hope you sleep and feel better soon. My sleep is kind of messed up but the (Spanish) sun is definitely energizing me. Onwards to Portugal on Monday!

Later, buddy!
