I just wanna say that @ifc has done pretty well for its first season. Sure, we all want instant hits, but expecting the moon on the first try is probably not realistic. I think we should learn from it and figure out what to improve and note what worked well, etc.
As for Steem Peak, it's vastly superior! I also use @GINAbot, so my notifications are covered. I'm glad you know that Steemit is just a front end, and what matters is Witnesses continue running the blockchain.
Since the price is so low, I wouldn't hesistate picking up a few cheap Steem. Of course, it has to be money you are willing to lose.

I appreciate the positive feedback, and I agree! I'd say we actually did a lot better than I would have expected! So I'm very grateful. And yes, I think it's gotta be a continual learning process and progress through as honest as possible reflection and one of the most important things I think is listening to the community and all the different opinions and voices. I think the more we let the community steer the direction they wanna go in, the better and more enjoyable this will be for almost everyone involved. :)
SteamPeak is awesome, the only thing I miss is the mentions. I didn't use ginabot because it asked me to go to an unsecure page. Is there anything you could tell me to relieve my concern there? I'd be willing to give it another try I just felt weird that they were sending me to an unsecure page.
And yes! If I had the cash I'd definitely invest. Though so far I haven't invested a single penny which is cool too! I can always tell people I made a bunch of money and didn't have to invest anything, a lot of people are wary of investments like that! So.. I think it's cool to be able to show that it's possible to do well without paying extra. And yeah good advice at the end! People almost certainly shouldn't invest unless it's money they can afford to lose!
