Assalamu'alaikum Steemian friends, this time I will share a little information about a place of history located near the beach road Krueng Raya, Ujong Batee, Gampong (village) Ladong, District Masjid Raya, District of Aceh Besar. The name of this fortress is Benteng Indra Patra.

The fort is composed of 4 (four) buildings that are estimated to be made of mountain rock arrangement of approximately 2 meters thick, and to glue the stones of the mountain, the archaeologists predicted using a mixture of egg white, lime, clay, and shellfish that have been destroyed first.

The fort is also estimated to be built in the Year 604 AD by Son of King Harsa Lamuri Kingdom, the largest bulk size of approximately 70 x 70 M as high as 3 M, in addition there is also a large room measuring about 35 x 35 M which reaches 4 M high, inside this fort there are also 2 (two) wells.

At the time of the Sultanate of Aceh Darussalam, the fort was used as a defensive line against the Portuguese entering the Territory of Aceh, the second fortress there are 3 (three) defense bunker, the first bunker serves to store ammunition made in the center of the fort, and in front of the fortress also made 2 two) bunker to put the cannon, and there are 9 (nine) where a small cannon is surrounded by this second Fortress.

In addition, Admiral Malahayati, the world's most respected First Laksamana Wanita, also used this fortress for the sake of the Defense of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam from the Portuguese attack.

Assalamu’alaikum teman-teman Steemian, kali ini saya akan membagikan sedikit infromasi tentang suatu tempat berserjarah yang terletak di dekat pantai jalan Krueng Raya, Ujong Batee, Gampong (desa) Ladong, Kecamatan Masjid Raya, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Nama benteng ini adalah Benteng Indra Patra.

Benteng ini terdiri dari 4 (empat) bangunan yang diperkirakan terbuat dari susunan batu gunung yang kurang lebih tebalnya mencapai 2 (dua) meter, dan untuk merekatkan batu-batu gunung tersebut, para arkeolog memperkirakan dahulu menggunakan campuran putih telur, kapur, tanah liat, dan kulit kerang yang telah dihancurkan terlebih dahulu.

Benteng ini juga diperkirakan dibangun pada Tahun 604 Masehi oleh Putra Raja Harsa Kerajaan Lamuri, benteng yang paling besar berukuran kurang lebih 70 x 70 M setinggi 3 M, selain itu juga terdapat ruangan yang besar berukuran sekitar 35 x 35 M yang tingginya mencapai 4 M, didalam benteng ini juga terdapat 2 (dua) buah sumur.

Pada masa Kesultanan Aceh Darussalam, Benteng ini digunakan sebagai garis pertahanan melawan Portugis memasuki Wilayah Aceh, pada benteng kedua terdapat 3 (tiga) bunker pertahanan, bunker pertama berfungsi untuk menyimpan amunisi yang dibuat di tengah benteng, dan di depan bangunan benteng juga dibuat 2 (dua) bunker untuk meletakkan meriam, serta terdapat 9 (sembilan) tempat meriam kecil diseputaran Benteng kedua ini.

Selain itu, Laksamana Malahayati yaitu seorang Laksamana Wanita pertama di dunia yang paling disegani juga pernah menggunakan benteng ini untuk kepentingan Pertahanan Kerajaan Aceh Darussalam dari serangan Portugis.
