Hello, steemit friends, welcome to Gems from them.

This is the post that summarizes the lessons I have learned, be it from a famous figure, a book character or anyone that has influenced my thinking and that I consider is worth your time. (all characters will be anonymized to avoid fame be a factor on the lesson)

Without further ado.

From The Philosopher Emperor I learned:

To be the example that you seek and understand that nothing outside your control should hold power on your action, that the present is all that matters and no future or possibilities should deprive you of it, that if you elevate the quality of your thoughts your happiness will rise with it, understanding that change is the expression of nature allows your own mind to be free, and always remember that your ambitions and what you value become determinant in your worth, take always care of your mind to which you can always retreat even when your path lies behind the obstacle .

This lesson gives so many insights in so many different aspects that I believe is worth the time to make it part of your arsenal of thought.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and of course if you feel like voting or reesteming that will be amazing.

Have a great day, see you soon.

Beautiful quote. I'm a big believer in being "the example that you seek..." as well as being the change you wish to see in the world. Thank you for this inspiration! :)

Thanks for your comment, this kind of quotes definitively push our soul to listen to itself rather than outside.

Definitely! I'll be watching for more of your posts. Have a great day! :)
