I'll reveal the future to you...

This is the English version of the post ‘Vi svelo il futuro’, originally published on the ITALY community.

I had been waiting for it for a long time, and finally it arrived. It’s the latest model of a sphere capable of predicting the future, produced by the well-known company PrankingTime. Its not-so-negligible price made me opt for the mid-range model, able to look ahead only 12 months—still better than the basic version, limited to just 5 minutes.

I wanted to wait until midnight on December 31st to get a complete vision of the year to come, but I couldn’t resist. After plugging it in to charge via its USB-C port, I plunged headlong into the future…

Let’s start with tomorrow, December 31st, 2025. Exactly at midnight, the sphere tells me that a new year will begin, made up of hardships, joys, pain, laughter, and tears. Children will be born, but unfortunately some people will pass away. There will be weddings, but also divorces; many new couples will form, while others will break apart.

Okay, what kind of scam is this? I could have known all this without spending a single cent. But almost without realizing it, the sphere drew me back in, radiating a warmth far greater than before. Apparently, it was just warming up for the real hot revelations…

In 2026, an unexpected team will win the championship. No one would have predicted it among the favorites at the start, yet with a great second half of the season, this exceptional group will manage to overcome the competition and come out on top.

Things are already getting more interesting, but listen to what comes next. The government will fall, leaving great chaos among those witnessing the event and a sense of bewilderment among the population. Many will try to bring it back up and give it another chance, but nothing will work and new elections will be called.

On the geopolitical front, the situation will remain tense, but some men driven by a sense of peace and justice will manage to restore a lasting balance. However, prices will rise for at least the first half of the year before stabilizing again.

Okay, but speaking of gold and other safe-haven assets, tell me about crypto: what will happen to our beloved cryptocurrencies? Cryptos will disappear, leaving several investors empty-handed, while…

At this point, I managed to break free from the sphere’s hypnosis, shaken by what I had seen. However, the object began to flash, as if calling me back once more for the final, heavy revelations—perhaps the cruellest of all…

It is impossible to know which championship is being referred to, nor the sport in question. The fallen government could belong to any country in the world, just as the restored balance and rising prices might refer only to certain goods, without excluding a drop in others.

And the vanished cryptos? Well, not all of them will be wiped out… only some.

A sigh of relief… Or not?
