I agree! It's like many people value more "being right" than actually communicating and connecting to another human being. That kind of people are more interested in attacking the other person instead of reviewing their argument, so they can learn/teach from it. I also concur in that you don't always have to attend every argument you are invited to, we tend to waste so much energy in trying to make people understand our point of view in an argument, that when the other person is just not interested in hearing our opinion but only in finding a way to "win" the argument, then it's just not worth it.

I couldn't agree more, @lilixblack. Sometimes some people lack respect for other people's opinions, viewpoint, style, that they tend to insist that they're right and the other is wrong, when in the first place the matter of who's right or wrong shouldn't exist.

I hope people learn the value of respect. If they can't appreciate, at least they learn to respect.

I am quite comfortable with the fact that there isn't always a right or wrong, there is often a large gray area that I am rather fond of exploring.
