Very odd coming here and not leaving full of strong @artistsmakers tea

My days are not full of any one thing. Sometimes I give a few hours to something, but mostly I flit from thing to thing. A little bit here, a little bit there.

I'm up by seven usually and meditating. I go for a run, I have breakfast and shower and dress. I do some work work (in lockdown this means mostly either talking to people on the phone or making content for the Sunday Service). I write a little. I fiddle with my crypto a little.

I poke the garden. It pokes me back. There are many tiny weeds and bits of grass sprouting through the rich compost I put down. The onions are thrusting skyward. I thinned out the broccoli but there's still too much, there will be a survival of the fittest grow-off. There are seeds and seedlings to tend indoors. I have some carrots and peppers germinating. I put some sunflowers to soak yesterday. The tomatoes that started as an experiment on a piece of kitchen roll are ready to go into pots. I pulled out some lemon seeds yesterday. I'll get them sprouting next and then pot them up. Lemons? In Guildford? Are you mad? No, just bored and curious. Why not? Why not try everything? It doesn't matter if it goes wrong, it's not exactly a huge investment that's gone into them. I think I had some fennel seeds from when we first moved in. I wonder what happened to them, did we eat them?

I sip cacao. It's good and warming on a day like today when the chill is back in between sunny spells. I never thought I'd have a hot-chocolate type thing ever again, but this is good, it needs no milk or sugar (I mean you could put milk and sugar in, but neither agree with me, so I don't). In fact I add a pinch of cayenne pepper and a pinch of cinnamon powder. I scrape the cacao from a big block, then pour hot water over it with the spices. It then goes through the blender and comes out with a thick chocolatey froth on top. Better than a cup of tea at this time.

I"m writing while my dinner cooks. We'll watch some telly tonight. Just easy going stuff. Old British sitcoms and detectives, silly but reassuringly simple.

No one thing. Not 9-5 this, 5-9 that, sleep and repeat. Lots of little things, keeping me going, keeping me in action, keeping me from the silly social screens and stories.
