My Experience 2
During examination period, I stayed with my friend in her room together with her roommates, while staying with them, I lernt more on how to put up with people and their different behaviors. There are times issues would come up about celebrities, who is more handsome/beautiful, the one with the best voice, the richest, as one of us has her own best, argument would rise and abusive words come in which sometimes leads to argument.
This may not be your case, it might be your friend who has a funny attitude and has several ways of annoying you, putting you into tight corner, troubles but you just pretend not to mind them but you're boiling up inside, shouting at him/her in your head or locking yourself up in your closet and raining abuses on him/her.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
1.UNDERSTAND; All you have to do is understand the person, how do you understand the person? There is always a reason behind people's behavior, why do you think a person is so nice, loving caring full of smiles, or why a person is full of wickedness, hatred, foul words, low self esteem, anger and the likes, the BACKGROUND of the person is part of it. You can't expect a person brought up in a home where he's always being maltreated physically, emotional, psychological to be a nice person at that and emotionally stable unless a miracle happens, or meets up with someone with good advice, shows him love care and make him know there is love. These things build people up and in one way or the other, these things display themselves through words of mouth, behavior and what you can think of.
Sometimes, it may be situation at hand that make some people act the way they do, some of our friends do some things we least expected of them, but there is certainly something that caused the action.
2.ASK QUESTIONS; Do not let make conclusion on what we see, 'do not judge the book by its cover', ask why he/she behaved or behaves that way, why he/she made that statement. Assumptions is bad, it causes so much harm, ask questions and be very sure of the situation.
3.PATIENCE; This is most important of all, if there's no patience in uswe wouldn't think of asking questions or to understanding them. In any situation, let there be patience, 'less words, less sin'.
