Hello Steem Fam! Here is a poem I recently wrote about the monotony associated with love and life. Everything is a cycle that ends where it began, typically out of negative energy and reborn from some semblance of positivity. At least, that's how i perceive the cycles.

Cycles perpetuate
Life will reciprocate
Fuck up & get fucked
Lucked out or out of luck
Maniacal monotony
A monster that's menacing
Entrancing, enhancing
Then thrashing about
Impossible to stand throughout the clout
Self-doubt hangs heavier than thunder clouds
Gale force streams of tears etch lines
In my grimacing facade
Stale salt left from the previous tides
Are begrudgingly washed

Leaving new trails
Bereaved by past fails
Grievances that never pale
Seemingly, I'll never escape this hell
