32 hours, no sleep
The sun rises, but it's covered by clouds.
I watch the sky slowly illuminate with my dinner plate pupils.
My body begins to betray me, but my mind still races in circles and wavy lines with no obvious pattern connecting them.
For the briefest moment there is stillness, right as the last piece of daylight emerges.
In the brief, maybe never to repeat moment, there is peace.
There is zen.
The feeling I chase every day, but never seem to capture.
