A SHORT STORY
On a Monday morning, a school graduate in search of greener pastures took a taxi to a radio station.

he asked the driver do you know where the radio station is? and the driver replied "i know there is one along airport road, Warri.
The driver stopped him at the junction. He walked from one point to another with no result. At that point he began to fear, he thought to himself "this must be a sign for me to go back,

besides what do i want to tell them?, and what if they don't let me in?... until he saw a brother. He asked him if he knew the radio station around and the brother directed to the similar location. He got there, rang the bell

and the gateman appeared and asked what he wanted. He answered i came to make enquiries. he was let in, as he walked up the stairs he felt nervous. When he got upstairs, the receptionist's smiling face have him assurance. He said to her, i would like to know if you take interns.

She answered the management is in charge.
Why don't you apply as a presenter she said. He had no clue they were in need of a presenter. she assisted him on how to go about it.
In conclusion, today he is a certified broadcaster

, he didn't get the job, but he got more than what he wished for. Thank God he took that ride.
Don't delay your dreams because you are afraid you will be rejected or turned down, go for it and in 6 months or a year from now you will be glad u did
