RE: Traveling with family. The Würzburg residence

in #writing7 years ago

You are so right with what you said about Würzburg. It's a wonderful city and I love that I live almost in the city center. Würzburg has everything a livable city needs. It's big enough to count as a city, with an interesting history, historical sites, lots of events, a university (ergo lots of young people), museums, galeries, clubs, nice shops, a river, beautiful surroundings and and and ... And it's small enough to walk almost everywhere within an hour. It's a perfect city for me as well.
You should see the garden of the Residenz right now! It's full of colorful flowers!

Sort:

I saw the trees blossoming right next to the train station last week when I was going to horse-riding. That was beautiful! I need to go in the city next week. Have to make Jonas buy a suit for the wedding in France. Plus, I want to have a walk in the city and stop by the ice cream place. Maybe they finally have that kiwi ice that they had once and I loved :D

People my age do not get my jokes so I might not be that interested in the university-goers. :D Maybe one day, though :D

I had some pear and some rose hip sherbet there (that bakers shop on the bridge). Both were delicious.
I took photos of this tree blooming next to the train station. That are magnolia trees. Unfortunately it's over now. I could try to post some of my photos in the next couple of days. We'll see. I'll take sme day trips as I am off from work for four days so I don't know when I find a moment. Are you doing good?

Oh, I would love to see how the photos came out for you! I just saw the trees for a couple of seconds, when the bus passed but they were wonderful! I think it was last week or maybe the one before... Now you are right. This Thursday there were no flowers on trees .

I am okay. Made some cake. An experiment. Not the prettiest one but hope it is going to taste good :D

How about you? Excited for the days off? And how far are you going?

😏 Not soo far as I thought we would. I dreamed about Lisabon but there are no affordable flights last minute. I think Lisabon is very popular that weekend. Plus, the hubby is nervous and restless because of a code he has to write ... We are going to the thermals Bad Sinsheim, coming back Monday morning so he has almost two more days for programming ...

Oh, I love Spa's! I hope you get to relax and cleanse!

Oh, I did not know your man was into programming. That is interesting! Is that how you found steemit?

Thank you! We are on the way to total relaxation ... ☺️
Yes, the hubby brought me to steemit. Quite similar to how you found it, right? 😉
