Increase your content writing influence by becoming a brand

Content writing can be viewed as an amateur, non-for-profit pastime, or a fully-fledged, professional activity.

In both cases, and in order to build a loyal readership, it is definitely worth establishing yourself as a brand.

Building a brand has nothing to do with the fact that you write for profit or not. All writers need readers, whether they get paid to write, or do it just for fun. Without any readers, it’s like talking to yourself, or thinking inside your mind; you are the only person having access to those thoughts.

Writing, on the other hand, should be closely linked to sharing your thoughts, ideas and opinions with the world.

Establishing yourself as an authority in your field of knowledge or expertise is in my view, the fastest way to become popular, and your work be influential.

Nobody really believes or follows a self-proclaimed wiseguy. Or, as the saying goes: “A Jack of all trades, who is a master of none”.

It might take time to establish a content writing brand.

However, it is worth it in the end, because after that everyone will recognize the superior quality and relevance of your writing.

Like a handmade luxury car, which is the epitome of high manufacturing quality; it takes time and concentrated effort for buyers to recognize this quality, so that the manufacturer reaps the long-term benefits.
