check out the origin of the word salad. also salami though this one is stretching it out a bit but still derives from salt / sal.
I find words and their roots can be very interesting and knowing their roots helps to understand them and their offspring better.
Done. Adding salad and salami and "sarari-man," I had a total of 5 examples derived from the Latin. So, I will include it in the "S" post.
Thanks for your input. I find the fact that "salad" is derived from that root fascinating ... just like most other word origins.
