Educators according to Al-Ghazali

The educator is the person with the effort to guide, perfect, and purify the heart in order to have closeness with His Khaliq.

Great concern for educators regarding tasks and positions becomes an important thing in the view of Al-Ghazali. This is reflected in his writings related educators that the best problem is related to science. It is inappropriate, if the teacher only becomes the wick of the candle that illuminates the surroundings but he is burned to death.

Furthermore, Al-Ghazali advised that anyone who struggles with education has taken on a great case. Carrying a large case must be with a responsible ethics and duties.
So the educator is someone who is given the responsibility of the teaching task that must have the ability in his field which is proved by the perfection of mind and mind. In addition, educators must have good morals in acting and physical plenary.
