It is a very dangerous practice. I have always been told that you should not be careless despite experience, overconfidence can be the cause of many mistakes
You must work on your writing, paragraphs are to develop ideas and make transitions within the story, so they should not be so extensive, nor should they use just one to tell several plot arcs.
