I think the main lesson here is to be honest, because it is preferable to fail with a clear conscience than to pass with the burden of conscience that you don't deserve it.
Good story, but it is not clear to me the meaning of the photographs for the plot, apart from the fact that it would have been more presentable if you had justified the text.
