Jools' show isn't what it used to be, but wouldn't you love to have all their archives at your fingertips? There's gold in them thar bins!
I don't think I ever watched OGWT when it was going - probably watched the odd bit and then turned it off 'cos there was no heavy metal. Bit like John Peel: the fact that he lasted so long playing the stuff he did is fantastic. But I always found an actual show un-listenable. Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show, though - that was a different kettle of fish!
I think it did watch it, but may not have appreciated it then. There's a big market for music for a mature audience, so there should be more TV for them now. Mind you, it shouldn't just be about nostalgia.
