Garden Warfare 2: Commando Corn’s fire rate

During the usual leveling up sequence I noticed that the commando corn had quite a slow fire rate. I’m the kind of person who would like the fast fire rate because it doesn’t matter if I miss, I’m still shooting extremely fast at this here imp. The commando corn only has 20 ammo. His weapon, to start, does a certain amount of damage on one hit. The next time, it doubles, then goes back to normal. However, the fire rate did get me killed. I think it’s too slow for me to be able to do anything. And what if there’s an imp or a scientist, they move around a lot, and with slow fire rate it’s harder to hit them. So, I would prefer any other corn (Other than the Party Corn).
