Mastering Transparency: 3D Water Drops Pencil Drawing

in #xpilar4 days ago

"Today I challenged myself to draw something 'invisible': Water.

The Concept: Drawing water is all about capturing how light refracts. I focused on the caustics and the refraction inside each drop.

Technique: I used my 3B pencil for the dark crescent shadows and kept the center light to maintain transparency. The sharp white highlights were the final touch to give it that wet, glossy look.

It's amazing how a few shadows can turn a flat paper into a 3D surface!"
