FIVE GUYS Cheeseburger for dinner on Sunday 10/9/2023

Last Sunday, my wife and I visited the Five Guys burger joint at Pavilion, Bukit Bintang. We snagged a window seat, it happened to be the only seating available at the time. It was a good spot though, allowing us to enjoy some people-watching while we ate.

Each of us ordered a cheeseburger and shared a large portion of fries, accompanied by bottomless sodas. The cheeseburger turned out to be quite sizable, more than enough to satisfy our hunger. (My wife was quite vocal about her hunger earlier, and we all know not to mess with a hungry lady!)

The taste of the burger, I must say, was decent. I won't claim it was the best I've ever had, but what's great about Five Guys is their burger customization. You can pick from a range of toppings and condiments to create your own unique flavor. The burger had juicy and thick patty. If the taste didn't blow me away, I can't fault the joint because I had a hand in choosing the toppings. Still, I enjoyed the burger and finished it off, which is what really matters.

Now, onto those large fries - they were indeed abundant. They tasted good, but to me they were just slightly soggy, the potatoes had some great fiber texture though, it might had tasted better if they were freshly fried.. too bad. We couldn't finish them all, so we brought the leftovers home. I continued snacking on them while enjoying a stout.

The cheeseburger that I ordered cost RM38.90 and the large fries cost RM26.90.

The lovely hand of my wife holding the the bottomless soda large cup, cost RM13. 90. I think we had a total of 4 refills before going out from the establishment.

The meal total cost was RM 118.60 for two person. In the end, both my wife and I left satisfied and happy with our meal. I'm thinking about returning to try their hotdog next time.
