Yahoo is SOLD out

On July 25, 2016 Yahoo was sold to Verizon for $4.8 billion, the sad part is on December 2000 the value was up to $1300 billion and on February 2008 Microsoft want to buy Yahoo with $45 billion, but they reject the offer and 8 years passed now they have sold it to Verizon for $4.8 billion. What do you guys think that the CEO aka Marissa Mayer sold it for that amount ?
