Know the YOGI world
Yoga is the oldest liberating technique that exists, with more than 6,000,000 years of its use. This method of spiritual improvement originates from India and also from the East, awakening a growing interest in the West.
The liberatory methods of yoga have been incorporated from very old to other traditions, such as Theravada Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Jainism, Tantra, Sufism, Gnosticism, Eastern Christianity and other soteriological systems. Since yoga is supra-religious and fundamentally eclectic in this sense, it is useful both for people with beliefs and for those who do not have them, because what it contributes is a set of very precious techniques for self-development.
They are methods that are available to anyone who wants to improve and is willing to practice them with some assiduity, they have been considered the first natural "medicine" in the world with preventive, therapeutic and recuperative methods. Even in the pursuit of spiritual elevation, yogis have always considered the body very important, since if in addition to the difficulties involved in the search for the Absolute, the body does not operate harmoniously, it will become an added obstacle. But if, on the contrary, the body and its energies and functions run harmoniously, the physical envelope will become a beneficial ally on the path to the ineffable.
There are many types of yoga today, the most known and practiced by a yogi, is the HATHA YOGA, which is nothing more than the use of postures to recreate the body and soul. These positions or also called ASANAS, are exercises that require more practice than theory and intertwine the body with the mind, where you not only focus on the point of imitating a posture but achieve a point where you can achieve concentration and balance. The use of asanas requires a good use of breathing, ranging from long inhalations and paused exhalations to get a soft breath that allows you to feel comfortable with no body pressure. A word used to achieve the concentration of the mind is MANTRA, which is thought, can be sung or repeated slowly, this word allows you to invade your senses and center your mind in a fixed point where you can get out of a noisy environment and find yourself spiritually . The asanas allow you to improve concentration and achieve a physical-mental union.
There are adequate forms of breathing that will be implemented in the practice of the asanas, these techniques are called PRANAYAMAS, where two techniques are contemplated to obtain adequate respiration, one to attract more oxygen to the blood and thus to the brain, and the other to control the PRANA or also called, vital energy that leads to the control of the mind.
I hope you enjoyed this mini introduction to the yogi world, the pictures were taken a long time ago when I started in this lifestyle. The important thing is always to continue in the spiritual search, dedicate to your body and mind at least 30 minutes a day. Remember "Healthy mind, healthy body."
