YogaChallenge Day 26! | “Hip Flexor Heaven” - Because anyone who travels or works at a computer NEEDS this class…

Real quick, can we take a moment to appreciate the awesome fractal-y frosty awesomeness that formed overnight on @teamhumbles little smart car- DAMN NATURE! I see you girl!!!

No joke friends. If you’re a keyboard warrior like I am, and spend long amounts of time sitting, or if you fly or take trains or have a long driving commute this class is for you. It’s only 30 minutes long with a short meditation at the beginning and the end that focuses on noticing where your body is at, and recognizing what’s changed by the end.

It’s FAB.

Classes like this are tough for me because my legs are often scrunched up sitting cross legged at the computer. My hips and hip flexors are SUPER tight, so this isnt one of those feel good magical unicorn classes. There are moments that are uncomfortable where you just have to recognize you’re in the thick of it and just breathe… but in the end it’s worth it. I promise.

+ Deep thoughts?

I felt so damn good after finishing this one that I didn’t stay for the whole meditation. After I felt centered, I popped up and jumped into a hot shower.

Not a bad way to start the day right?

I hope your post-Christmas morning relaxing and stress free. Take a break today friends. You’ve done enough. Chill down and do something that makes YOU happy, the rest will sort itself out.

i love it!

You have such boundless energy first thing in the morning! Kudos for sticking to the 30 day challenge! Almost done! Will you continue after?

Haha I must have gotten some great sleep because I was even up before @teamhumble today! He's the resident morning person- haha yes 4 days left and I'll certainly continue, just maybe not DAILY 5x a week is perfect for me at the moment-- gotta allow for a little flexibility with life and how you're feeling daily you know?

Kudos to you for keeping it up!

Hey are you doing yoga? How is it going for you? Tell me your experience. I am very curious cause I am also doing it daily for years...

that's great! If you practice at home I'd recomend doyogawithme.com they're the site I'm using for this 30 day challenge, but Ive been practicing on my own consistently for about 2 years now- I'm actually planning a post all about my entire yoga journey, but needless to say it's changed my life for the better- i love it!

Yes, it is live-changing for sure. I am practicing and teaching yoga courses for about 10 years. That helped me quit drugs, smoke and alcohol. Now I just don't need it. And it is so easy and fast to come over any stress situations now. Everything become really simple. I am also planning a post about this someday :) Thanks for the link, I will look into it!

In childhood, we do this kind of exercise just for fun. We did 5-10 flip at a time. But now, we are too busy to do.
Before reading this post, i did not know it is good for health. As a graphic designer, I always sit for long time in front of my computer.
After reading this, I will try this.
Thanks....

Enjoy!
I know what it's like to sit long hours at the computer- your hips will thank you! <3

Thanks for stopping by @mdemran!
