Giggle Giggle Quack is a fun kids book read aloud! It starts with Farmer Brown leaving on vacation and leaving his brother Bob in charge of the animals. In this children’s book read aloud, Farmer Brown tells his brother that he wrote all the instructions down for him to follow. He says to just follow his instructions about the farm animals and everything will be just fine. But, he needs to keep an eye on Duck because he causes trouble. Bob goes to read the first note about feeding the animals. It says “Tuesday night is pizza night (not the frozen kind)”. It means that the animals want Bob to order pizza and the chicken’s prefer anchovies. After he reads the note, there are giggles and clucks from the chicken’s and Duck. Bob orders pizza and feeds the animals in the barn. In this kids book read aloud, the next day Bob reads another note. This note says “Wednesday is bath day for the pigs.” It tells him to wash the pigs inside with Farmer Brown’s favorite soap and dry them with his good towels. When he reads the note, there are giggles coming from the pigs and Duck. When Farmer Brown called home, he asked if everything was going well and if Bob got his notes about feeding the animals and about the pigs. Bob replied confidently that everything was taken care of and he followed his instructions. Farmer Brown reminds him to keep an eye on Duck and to keep him in the house because he’s a bad influence on the cows. Duck didn’t see Bob looking at him because he was too busy sharpening his pencil. After the phone call, there are more giggles. The last note is the next day. It says that Thursday is movie night and it’s the cow’s turn to pick. As they are watching the movie and Bob is making popcorn in the kitchen, Farmer Brown calls to check in. All he hears in the background is, Giggle Giggle quack, giggle giggle moo, giggle giggle oink, and giggle giggle cluck. He realizes that Duck is up to something and screams “DUUUUCCCKKK”! “Oh No!” says Duck, and he writes a note to Bob saying “It’s for you Bob!” We finally find out that all the notes up to this point were switched out and replaced by Duck who wrote new instructions for Bob.
