YouTube Tightens The Monetization Rules: No Ads Till 4000 Hours Watchtime & 1000 Subscribers (2018)
Yo Steemians, YouTube has tighten the monetization rules.
Before some years we could easily create a YouTube Channel and after the creation of channel and uploading one video we could monetize our videos and earn money.
Back in April 2017 YouTube policy changed. YouTube set the requirement of 10,000 views in order to apply for monetiztion. Due to this update new YouTubers felt difficulty and lot's of new YouTubers leaved YouTube.
And now in 2018 YouTube has tighten the monetization rules. We cannot monetize our videos until we reach 4000 Hours Watchtime & 1000 Subscribers under 12 months. It will be very difficult for new YouTubers to reach 4000 hours watchtime and 1000 subscribers until 12 months.
This rule will be implemented after 20th Feb 2018. YouTube has implemented this rule to get rid of spammers. YouTube is now focusing on good content, watchtime and subscriber rather than pageviews.
Shame on youtube.. I trust dtube so much! Best platform🙏

Welp there are two sides to this thing also. I know some people who make money by spamming on youtube and cloning famous youtubers accounts. That is what happens when a platform gets too big and starts seeing things from bussiness viewpoint.
Yeah . People are earning thousands of dollars by spamming and other good creators who upload original contents are not earning a single penny
