GHOST TRAIN | Poetry
Faster than light, to London and back,
The three forty five roars down the track,
A beautiful waitress is pleased to play host,
For those we have lost, returning as ghosts.
.......
Peering through windows, during the night,
Curious children, sneaking a sight,
At shapes without substance, free of all pain,
Hitching a ride on the ultimate train.
........
Passing through stations, sounding its horn,
Never to witness the breaking of dawn,
Where does it go to, during the day,
The mysterious train, which passes our way.
........
For those we have lost, returning as ghosts,
A beautiful waitress is pleased to play host,
The three forty five roars down the track,
Faster then light .... to London back...
