The zoo

In recent years, Belfast Zoo has definitely started to decline a bit, which is one of the reasons we haven't visited for a while.However, we noticed some recent social media posts suggesting new enclosures and other updates, so we decided to take a chance and visit to see what was new.We're really glad we did – it was a great day out!

Intro..

Item one, parking – there's a lot of it, probably the first thing you notice when you arrive.
You'll never have trouble finding a space, no matter the day.
Item two, like many other zoos, the place is built on a fairly steep hill, so if you have mobility issues, moving around might be a bit of a challenge.
