Quiet and Silent

The during this covid-19 pandemic the activity of all offices was reduced. Also includes activities in the hospital. In the hospital where I work, very many employees work at home, especially employees who work in administration, finance and planning.

The working hours of health workers working in hospitals are also reduced for work effectiveness. Like me who works in the radiology department, in a month I only work for 15 days and the other 15 days I self quarantine at home. But everytime, after work I still go home but before entering the house, I first take off all my clothes and wash with detergent. After that I take a shower and use shower soap too. All that I do so that I do not become an intermediary carrying the virus. If I had a virus attached to my clothes or body, I would have cleaned it before I entered the house and interacted with my family.

As a result of the effectiveness of working hours, it makes the office and hospital quiet and the streets quiet. Just like when I left for work and arrived at the hospital, very few people passed by on the road. Likewise in the hospital, the parking lot was only filled with a few cars. And no one is passing by at the hospital. Usually before covid-19 struck, every day there were quite busy employees and visitors of patients passing by in the hospital.

At present the hospital where I work has also been limited by the number of patient visits, especially in the polyclinic. Each polyclinic only serves a maximum of 10 patients every working day. And during the covid-19 pandemic there were no more visiting hours for patients. This is because every day we always serve patients who are suspected of being infected with coronaviruses so hospitals are not safe for healthy people.
