My Actifit Report Card: June 13 2021

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!

Sunday’s are church day! I love going to church, worshiping and listening to the Word. The fellowship is nice as well! A great way to start the day!😇

Afterwards we came home and relaxed a bit. It’s a rainy in the Northwest and not too optimal for hiking. The rain broke and Jan texted and asked if we were going as the rain was supposed to start up again around 4 pm. We decided to meet at 3. Of course, it started raining at 3, but we headed out with raincoats for Jan and@silvertop, and me and my trusty umbrella ☔️

I rescued this little guy from certain death as he was in the road and would be a prime target for road kill.

Okay, so very small road kill!

I had gone up to open the greenhouse prior to the hike and discovered as we set out, that I had a passenger I’d picked up.

I gently removed him to the side of the road where he’d be safe. Ever since our neighbors added 6000 bees to 2 beehive colonies they started, I’m finding all kinds of bees at our house. I kind of like it! 🐝

It rained the whole hike! At one point, Jan’s husband called and asked if we needed him to come get us because of the rain! We declined and kept going getting seriously soaked 😜

I’m cooking a new recipe out of a Mediterranean cookbook for spicy sausage lentil soup for dinner. We’ll see how it turns out 😋
