Some Nice Refreshing Drinks After a Difficult Week
God, it's been a tough week. Most of it to do with the "you know what" situation. So, these cool beauties sitting in front of me and the missus, are just the ticket. We also bumped into a few of the regulars at out local to chill out and shoot the breeze with! Sounds about right given it's a cold, chilly Friday night in the heart of London. What's the drink, I hear you say? Nothing but me old favourite, "Malibu and Coke on the rocks". Hits the spot real nice.
As I reflect on the last few days of mind-boggling turbulence and stress, I come to the realisation that things could be worse. Main point being what's occurring outside right opposite to us. I'm sitting here now and can see the blue sirens of two fire engines flashing across the street. Apparently some poor soul's flat went up in flames a short while back. Just doors away from where I live! Literally as I type this up!
Oh yeah, things could be a hell of a lot worse...

Yea I have been down since the announcement and also took it apon myself to get out last night with some drinks and friends to get my mind off things for a few hours, I think right now the main thing is survival of this bear market, once we are past this I think Steem INC will continue its work from the ground-up, my only concern is will people stop believing in Steem now? I guess like most things time will heal the situation.
I feel your pain too, man. And yeah, the brand of Steem in general, is in jeopardy as far as I'm concerned. Things could be turned around in time, but as you rightly say, but only if people actual "see" it happening instead of listening to an endless stream of bloody promises. Could this all turn out to be a blessing in disguise? Time will tell, mate...
It has been a tough week hasn't it? I started panicking thinking about how I gave up audience-building on all of my other social media accounts in 2016. I decided to pay $20 to promote a post on my Facebook author page and the results came back with a measly 25 clicks. Then I remembered why I left in the first place. All it takes is something to shift your perspective.
Sometimes life deals us these cards, good sir. But it's how well you show your hand that really counts, when all is said and done.
