When we receive an order.

Absolutely nobody, who wants to receive orders. The humans from our complication make us a lot of noise when we receive an order, it is like when we receive something cold in the stomach a strange sensation nothing pleasant and worse still the form in which you receive the order, so simple "do this" then it could be said, it is the must be it orders us and we must obey, from children it begins this until seeming custom or cultural, it is done and point.

Correct words.

Changing human behavior in repeated analyses I have said is super difficult, but not impossible. So, the author shows us once again a very useful way of how, by using the right words, we can make a difference when it comes to people doing or complying with their responsibilities by feeling calm.

Involve people.

It seems like a good tactic because as long as they feel they are participating in the decision making they will not see that they are ordering anything. Because when you tell someone "I need your opinion on how to do this" people change their perspective and give their ideas without realizing that they are doing their job.

It's all in the way you treat people.

The way you address them is going to change their reaction and behavior a lot, from my point of view involving them in the work, and not ordering them to do the work.

I really love your post review on chapter four of the book and I must confess that this is really how majority of people are designed to be. I think we all have that sense of pride in us making it sometimes very difficult for people to control or command us to do things.

Hello friend, I agree, nobody likes to receive orders and much less in a bad way. There are strategies to be able to include the employees and make them part of the project. A good leader must be able to integrate them in the best way and without conflicts. Greetings!

What you're saying is a reality for everyone.
Most of us don't like to receive any kind of orders. But, being dependents in a job, we often have to put up with it.
And it also has to do with the way they say it, because there are polite ways of doing it, however, there are those who do it in a bad way, and that's not nice.
The other thing that is important to emphasize is that many times you get an order from someone who is out of line in the job, but for some reason that we don't know is in that position.

Precisely what you are describing is the reason why there is no empathy or friendship between the boss and his employees, mainly because we tend to confuse the contexts first, and I say this because I know of close situations where the boss acts attached to authoritarian behavior and uses the wrong words that produce hostile scenarios. Situations such as these must be carefully analyzed in the search to establish parameters of healthy coexistence.

We need to make very friendly relations with our employees so that it helps in finishing work quickly. A good relationship always helps us.

receive a request is something difficult to assimilate especially if this request is not said correctly "we are all emotional beings" and as Mr. Jim Rohn would say (not operate the heart with an axe) this only means that you can not treat a sensitive issue directly is better to say things so that the person understands that it is to improve and for that there is a saying "attack the problem but not the person" in the bible god says "I love you but I hate your sin" god loves the person but hates the action.

It is good to act calmly and cool but sometimes as a boss, we may need to learn how to give orders or have our business in a mess.

Sometimes it is not giving an order, but rather the way in which one is asked to do something, sometimes you can be told how to do something, but the way in which we are told does not seem like an order and we end up complying fully.
