Another irritating "magic" fitness pill that is complete BS.

Dr. Oz is one of my least favorite gurus in the fitness world. It just seems so obvious to me that he is compensated by various companies to say the things he does on his show and most of it is backed by self-funded "research" that has never been verified by the independent medical industry.

The supplement industry is not regulated, so these companies can say pretty much whatever the heck they want to and not get in trouble for it. I do find it a bit despicable when someone who actually is a doctor, would lie to the public like this though.

He is routinely criticized by his peers (he actually is a surgeon and a medical doctor) for promoting pseudoscience and non medical "solutions" that can actually cause more harm than good.

I think that one thing is known in the fitness-oriented world and that is that you will not see results without diet and exercise.... period. There are varying ways to accomplish these ends but sitting on your butt and taking a magic pill is not going to work for anyone.

Dr Oz actually stated that this product is the"magic ingredient that lets you lose weight without diet or exercise."

Its called Garcinia Cambogia and there is absolutely zero evidence outside of their own personally funded studies that indicate it does anything at all. Like many things in the alternative medicine world, there is not a single study that shows that this product produces any weight loss in humans. They purveyors of this product are able to trick the masses by showing results that were produced inside of mice. They never show the human trials because the people that make this stuff almost certainly realize that it is a bogus product.

If you did a google search for this product you will find hundreds are articles proclaiming the health benefits of these tablets including the phrase "lose belly fat." All of the websites that I looked at that were praising this product conveniently sold them on the same site.

It's quite simple folks, nobody is going to burn belly fat or any other kind of fat without diet and exercise. There is not magic pill and if you are too lazy to put in the work I see "belly fat" in your future. It really is as simple as that.

I am not a professional trainer nor a dietitian. I am merely recounting what I did in order to lose over 50 lbs and gain muscle mass while still living a fun life and I think it can work for other people as well

Sort:

I never really paid much attention to this guy but this has a lot to do with the fact that I had moved out of the USA before he was a thing. Do people actually listen to this guy? I remember hearing that he has some sort of new magic product like every single show that he does.

yeah I don't pay much attention to him because anyone who is pushing a product is probably lying to you at least to a certain degree. If he actually took all the products that he talks about he would be taking capsules all day long.
