Fruits you must avoid for weight loss
It seems odd to suggest something as traditionally healthy as fruit would be a major caveat as far as weight loss is concerned but it is a fact. This is because of the naturally occurring sugar that exists in all fruit. Some are better than others and some of the less sweet fruits are actually the highest in carbohydrates.
If you want to jump start your weight-loss journey from fat-ass to fitness, you are going to need to completely cut these fruits out of your diet.
Mangoes

This should seem rather evident because a mango is generally so sweet tasting that it is pretty evident that there is probably some business in there that is going to not exactly be part of a weight loss diet. An average size sweet mango can have as much as 30 grams of carbohydrates.
Apples

This one surprises most people because apples, especially the horribly mis-named "red and delicious" apples, don't taste terribly sweet. An apple contains around 25 grams of carbs. To put this perspective, this is the same amount of carbs contained in a McDonald's cheeseburger.
bananas

This is the one that gets the most people because a banana is probably one of the most energy packed food products on the planet. Carbohydrates are the source of easily burned energy and this is the reason why a banana can contain as much as 28 grams of carbs for each one. When I first started my weight loss plan i was aghast to find out that my go to breakfast of several bananas was the equivalent of a super-sized value meal with a coca cola.
There are many other fruits that are high in carbs but a good rule of thumb is that if you are going to "kick start" your weight loss by getting off of carbs almost entirely for the first couple of months is to avoid fruit altogether. Fruit contains a lot of essential vitamins, so during this part of the journey I recommend taking a multivitamin in order to give your body what it needs in terms of all that jazz.
We were told our entire lives that fruit is the key to good health and in many ways it is. However, if you are trying to shock the system into rapid weight loss this is one of the things that absolutely must go away for a while.
The MyFitnessPal app is a great way to confirm all food choices in your diet when researching what to purchase at the grocery store. The app is free and is downloadable from all major app stores.
It's a good thing I am not trying to lose weight as I love bananas. Mind you, there is some guilt involved as they are all imported. I do eat apples from our own trees when they are available. I would not have thought that fruit was such a bad thing when dieting. I really ought to read up more on nutrition. I don't eat meat or much dairy and so be compromising on my running ability.
It sounds like you are relatively active so the things I write do not apply to you and it doesn't apply to me very much anymore either. I just know that when i was 106kg that you need every advantage that you can get because once you achieve fatassdom results need to happen or the person involved will get demotivated very quickly.
Fruit is terrible for this program and I think that a lot of people just presume it is going to be fantastic for weight loss because... well because it is fruit!
