What is the essence of life?
We are here on this plane living, eating, drinking, working to store up treasures, getting married, having kids, etc. But how many of us have ever wondered about what the true essence of our existence is?
Why are we here?
Where did we come from?
Where are we going?
What's the best way to live here?
How do we classify good and evil?
Why do people deal unjustly with their fellow humans and get away with it?
Why does it seem like the world system reward con and cruel people, while those with the purest of heart and true intentions suffer?
What exactly is the essence of life?
I asked this question yesterday on Facebook and here are some of the responses I got.
The essence of life is finding your mission and purpose on earth and fulfilling it.
It is to know God, love God, be happy with him here on earth while doing his will and in the world next.
No essence. We just make up reasons so as not to feel reality.
Enjoying it the way you can and helping others the way you can.
Essence of life is to live life.
Although, it was an interactive section, I haven't been convinced with any of the answers.
Now over to you. What is the essence of life?
I await your responses in comments below.

The essence of life is just to live life the way it is and according to the will of God following each step that was laid down by him.

What are the steps laid down by him? What is his will?
For me essence of life is to lead life slowly and enjoy each phase of it to the fullest. I have been practicing yoga and tai chi for a while and have understood that the true essence of life is actually in slowing down yourself and your thoughts so that you are able to enjoy every phase of this beauty.
Awesome! Slowing down helps us some times. Thanks very much for your comment here @gungunkrishu.
