Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Wishing all my Steemit friends the best of luck in the third week of the Engagement Challenge, I'm here with my entry. This time I find it very interesting. This year the chosen topic is "National Festival". According to the culture of each country there is a national festival of each country which is celebrated very much. Today I will discuss about "National Festival" of my country through challenge question.
Festival means a joyous occasion by which we express our happiness. Festivals are a special way of sharing joy among the people of a country in a family or social way. Different day based festivals are celebrated in different ways in different countries. Since I am a Muslim and live in a Muslim country. Eid is the national festival of my country. Eid is the biggest religious festival of Muslims. In my country Eid is celebrated twice a year.

How it started :
Eid ul Fitr : Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan. The Arabic month of Ramadan is a period of fasting. They celebrate Eid ul Fitr on the first day of Shawwal after fasting from the first day of the month of Ramadan to the last day of the month.
Eid ul Azha : Eid ul Azha is celebrated on the tenth day of the month of Zilhaj. Sacrifice is done on this day. Many people also call it the Eid of Qurbani. The meat of the sacrificial animal is also distributed among poor relatives.
We organize many events to celebrate the national religious festivals of the Muslims. I have already mentioned that we have two Eids. We celebrate the two Eids in different ways. During the first Eid-ul-Fitr, we observe a month of fasting and the day of Eid comes. On this day, men leave their homes in the morning to eat sweet food and go to perform their prayers. And very delicious traditional food is prepared at home. A family get together is organized on the day of Eid ul Fitr to share the joy of Eid with everyone.

Also on Eid ul Azha we seek the pleasure of Allah by sacrificing our beloved things. On this Eid, we offer halal animal sacrifice for the sake of Allah in the glory of sacrifice. Although there is a difference between the two rules, the overall aim is to celebrate the happiness of the rich and the poor together without distinction.
Special Dress : The special dress for celebrating our national festival is Punjabi and Pajama for men and Saree and Salwar suit for women. Also, different types of clothes come out in the market along with the clothing trends. Their new clothes added to our happiness.

Special food : Food items have a special attraction on these days. Semai is the special food of this day in our national festival. Which carries the tradition for our national festival. Semai is a sweet food which we eat in the morning. Its semai is known as a special dish in our festival. There are also a variety of other delicious foods. Foods like Biryani, Roast Chicken, Kebabs, Beef etc. are a big part of our festival.
I have many memories from my childhood of celebrating national festivals. The memories of childhood were much happier. I grew up in my maternal grandmother's house since childhood. There I lived in a large family and I used to celebrate Eid with my cousins. Some memories are not to be forgotten.
For example, their clothing. At that time there was such a trend that if someone saw their clothes before their day, they would be out of date. So when I was young, I used to hide them after buying their clothes. Also, on this day, I used to greet all the elders of the house. Then at the end of the day, I would discuss who was the most edi. Actually those festival days of childhood were very beautiful.

Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha are our big religious festivals which we Muslims celebrate with great joy. In these two festivals, we forget our differences and rejoice. We have certain religious rules which we follow to observe these two festivals. Many of us are familiar with this childhood memory of yours, we used to say that if we don't show anyone our Eid dress except on Eid day, it will become old.

Wow dear its very nice to read your post and I really enjoyed the way you shared Islamic festivals with us I am also from a Muslim family and I am well aware of their importance these festivals are joys. It is the name of sharing and gathering happiness. We also give happiness and take happiness on it. For example, on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, we give Eid to each other. We wear our favorite clothes and go to each other's houses. We prepare food and we sacrifice on Eid-ul-Azha in memory of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him), so this is a very special festival and it is also a requirement of our faith and it is also a reason for increasing our knowledge, so our faith is based on them. These are such festivals. There are those who create in us consciousness and passion and love and affection for people.

Very nicely written, our national first festival as a Muslim must be, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr and Ajah. We celebrate two festivals with great purity. Where you wrote Eid-ul-Azha bonding between the rich and the poor through sacrifice, I like it very much.

Festivals are an important means of celebration.Festivals of any country create a spirit of love and harmony among people.Being a Muslim, I also love the festivals of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Zahi.The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the 1st of Shawwal immediately after the end of Ramadan.On this day, all Muslims wear good clothes and hug each other immediately after the Eid prayer, thus they forget all their sorrows and share in each other's happiness.On this day sweets and all traditional foods are prepared at home.One cannot forget the childhood memories like how you celebrated your Eid at your grand mother's house with your cousins.Live your life as it is and be happy.

I felt very good after your post. We are really very lucky that the great creator sent us Muslims on earth and gave us two important joyful holy festivals of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. These two Eids in a year are a golden opportunity to bond with brotherhood as well as joy. These festivals every year to reveal the greatness of Zakat and Qurbani among the poor and needy, Almighty Allah has arranged this festival among us.

উৎসব আমাদের সকলের কাছেই একটি আনন্দের দিন। তবে, একজন মুসলিম হিসাবে আমাদের কাছে সবথেকে বড় আর খুশির উৎসব হলো আমাদের ঈদ যা বছরে দুইবার পালিত হয়।একটি হলো ঈদ-উল-ফিতর আর অপরটি হলো ঈদ-উল-আযহা।
দীর্ঘ একটা মাস সিয়াম সাধনা করার পর আমাদেরকে খুশির সংবাদ নিয়ে হাজির হয় পবিত্র ঈদ-উল-ফিতর।এই ঈদে আমাদের সকলের বাড়িতেই সেমাইসহ আরো নানান ধরনের মিষ্টান্ন রান্না করা হয়।এাব মিষ্টান্ন খেয়ে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে রোজা ভঙ্গ করে সবাই ঈদের নামাজে যাই।
আর, জ্বিলহজ্ব মাসের দশ তারিখে উৎযাপিত হয় ঈদ-উল-আযহা। যা মহান আল্লাহকে খুশি করার একটা পয়গম নিয়ে আসে আমাদের কাছে।এই ঈদে আল্লাহকে খুশি করার উদ্দেশ্যে মুসলমানেরা কোরবানি করে থাকে।

আপনি জাতীয় উৎসব হিসেবে ঈদের কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন। ঈদ হচ্ছে আমাদের দেশের ধর্মীয় উৎসব। কিন্তু স্বাধীনতা দিবস বা নববর্ষের উৎসব হলে দেশের সকল ধর্মের মানুষ অংশ গ্রহণ করে। প্রতিটি দেশের ধর্মীয় এবং জাতীয় উৎসব রয়েছে। আমাদের দেশে ও ধর্মীয় এবং জাতীয় উৎসব রয়েছে। ঈদ উৎসবে আমরা সবাই খুবই আনন্দ করি। আপনার লেখা অনেক সুন্দর হয়েছে। শুভকামনা রইলো আপনার জন্য।
