WOX: commenting and engaging
Hello dear Steemians,
Today while reading through the posts and commenting them I noticed that there are many who probably not been discovered yet. It is sometimes difficult to know what to do so that people see you and visit your posts.
To tell the truth there are two main secrets of being successful on Steem:
either you have to have high Steem Power, then you will be noticeable in the long list of Upvotes and not disappear at the bottom of the list.
the other one draw attention to yourself by speaking to other people, but on Steemit, by commenting people.
Again it is not 100% guarantee but where do you receive 100% guarantee, nowhere.
But if you decide to try yourself and try to comment at least 5 people a day who knows people will notice you.
Also for those of you who have not seen the post of @steemitblog about Curators for September, it is interesting to read it because it seems that now the Curators encouraged to pay attention to commenters too.

I do not know yet whether I am in good hands here. I just take a lot of pictures with my smartphone, especially for my daily report at actifit. Some of them I find quite good enough to stand on their own, as a daily snapshot.
I think a lot depends on the communication when you starting somewhere. I noticed that you also have an account on Hive and this is a split from Steemit. There are many users who use both platforms and post on both but you should know that over here if you post the same stuff on both platforms then it will not be Curated by many strong Steemcurator accounts. Over here the idea is to give preference to those users who post Steem exclusive. Therefore, if you would like to be noticed by those accounts do completely different posts here and also on Hive. I do not know if on Hive they also pay attention to that.
On Steemit this attitude is particularly pronounced, which is a pity. On the other channels, Instagram, Tiktok, Blurt, Minds, Hive , Line, yes even on Wechat is still more the idea of networking in the foreground.
For me it would be best if there was a metafrontend, because ultimately not the channel itself, but the interaction , is what I want.
But as Bismarck already said? Divide and rule.
Yes, agree, the number of users on Steemit is low and they would like to retain people with motivating them with higher upvotes, there are some curation Programs and accounts too. Here is the main blog of the Steemit Team just if you have an interest:

Yes, there are many here and also on Hive just for interaction as the main reason of being there, then of course it does not matter. Majority of users who take part in the Steemit Team activities are from developing countries and of course many depend on that reward for financial aim. That is why they simply follow the rule and post exclusive posts here. But also the same people on Hive but with other posts. That is actually double so much work. But who knows if they do not work then it is their full time work blogging.
However, the focus of rewards on exclusive circles with predefined topics including a ban on redistribution makes Steemit unattractive to other independent investors, bloggers and developers.
With any luck, Steemit will become a digital publisher, but it will likely die a slow death by being forgotten, like Yahoo and Aol.
It lacks innovation because there are no developers
It lacks enthusiasm because it has to be written to specifications and exclusively, Steemit can't grow virally that way, which is the foundation of any social media.
And it lacks an outlook, which reliably keeps investors away.

As a hobby. I read and comment on the bulk of posts made on this Steemit platform without being aware of this problem. I did, however, follow the correct procedure. I'm a rookie, so I appreciate you explaining this to me.
That is a good beginning, with commenting people will automatically go to your blog. Of course, it is always difficult when you are starting but this is always like that.
I genuinely appreciate your feedback and am eager to move forward with this platform.
I totally agree with your thoughts. But these days, it's not like people read a post just because his/her steem power is high. Rather, I think it depends on how much I try to communicate with other people. Especially when people with the same interests are active in the same community.
Yes, you are right. I remember I saw an acocunt in the past that was posting just a photo and otherwise no text but the photo was really great and it was a shame that people did not see that. Then I dropped a comment and explain that it would be good to have something written on post, the user was completely surprised that someone is talking to him and slowly changed the way of posting but also became more active. Now he has more than 5K Steem Power. It is sometimes that we can help others to remain on platform by giving advise and also we were happy to have such active user :)

Engagement is what I'm thinking of doing here because not so many are taking part by commenting. I hope it can help for the community.
Yes, but also you can try to take part in the engagement challenge that is run by "steemitblog" account, even with your comments so that you are seen :)

Yeah, commenting on people's posts, I'm better than I used to be, but still pretty bad at that. Thanks for the reminder @stef1.
Hey @fijimermaid, I am really pleased to see that you are so active recently, that is why I was wondering if you would like to apply for next time for Community curator program or @steemitblog. There is a group of 7 so you do not need to do daily curation with such SCXX account and I know that you would really great in encouraging and supporting users :)
I just finished reading the latest community curator program post…that something I might consider. I did take the last post that you wrote to heart…about commenting and engaging. If I was going to participate in the community curation program…then I would want to make sure I was commenting on at least five posts a day beforehand and consistently, just to know if I had the time and discipline to do it, because we all have day jobs…and I don't want to neglect my wife, I'll be in big trouble, hehe :)
I appreciate the people that actually take the time to engage here as much as they do, like you. Actually, that's a big reason why art is much easier to comment on than “reading posts,” because, you know, you have to read it, and that takes much more time. A picture is worth a thousand words, and you don't have to read 1000 words to appreciate it :)
I am trying to engage more on steemit, I do like it here, and people are very nice. So I will give careful thought to the community creation program.
I know what you mean and that was something that we were doing for last 2 years with Steemcurator account initially and then with Booming. That takes a lot of time. But with new SC accounts then you do curate only once a week, so that is already easy.
But of course it is yourself who should decide. I also love commenting on Art as that usually says for itself.You will still have enough time to think about because September one is already started :)
