It definitely can be fixed with some simple interface changes. A bit of whale abuse is inevitable but Steemit.com has arrived at some weird formula for how to 'cheat' the system.

I think flags can snowball when enough people talk about them and stand by their convictions. I'm right with you there @steevc.
