AUTUMN CHILI 🍁💚🍁
Hello my Dearest Foodies,
When comes to comfort foods for colder months, Chili always makes the top of the list for me, because there is nothing like coming home to a warm bowl of this yummy goodness. What I also discovered, is that adding a butternut squash makes it even more satisfying. So if you have not tried it yet this way, check out my recipe. I made it many times and all my friends and family loved it.

Killer chili recipe Lena! I’ve never thought to use butternut squash in my chili 🤔 I’ll definitely keep this in my for next time.
I’m so happy it’s chili/soup/stew season at my house too. You’re so right, nothing beats coming home to a warm bowl of homemade chili- except maybe a bowl of homemade chili with a loaf of homemade bread to go with it. Haha
Beautiful recipe and as always great photography my friend.
While I love avo I never would've put it to a bean curry. Your colour and food combinations are colourful Lena. Such a delicious dish for cooler weather. And cilantro - yum
Oh sweetie, but it's not curry; Chili is a Mexican food and they put avo on everything, lol. But thank you so much my Dear Tracey, I am glad you like it 🌸💖🌸
Ooops. Here in SA we have the Indian influence (not the Mexian) and everything is curry. I was first introduced to the Chili as a food concept when I was in the States. I still forget that it's classified as a dish. We just "curry" it all!
I haven't tried it with butternut squash yet but it sounds like a great idea! I can imagine that the taste is very soft and the dish is quite filling. Perfect autumn food! ❤ Thank you for the idea my dear!
Yes it is, thank you so much Dear Martina 🌸💖🌸
Looks perfectly comforting and delicious Lena! It's pretty dreary here today, so chili would be a perfect way to warm up. 😊
This year autumn is very disappointing. Since the day we went apple picking, it was hardly any sun. Thank you Katie, I am glad you like the chili, I have to double the ingredients next time. It wasn't enough, lol.
Brrr! I can't complain too much since we've had some nice days here and there. The farmers at the market seem to be having a better time of it since it's cooled down and rained a bit to help out their fall crops.
Chili is always best in big quantities, so I'm with you in that I tend to double up on all the ingredients! It just gets better as it sits for a few days, then it always freezes well if you don't eat it all. Though that hardly ever happens in our household. 😋
Nice 1 lenasveganliving, that is 1 of my favourite meals.
Thank you so much my Friend, I am happy to hear that 😊
I just made chili today too - nice idea to add butternut squash. I will have to try that sometime :D
This plate looks so warm and inviting, just what you need on a cold evening! Thanks for sharing Lena :)
Thank you so much my Dear, I am glad you like it 😊
Lovely recipe...look delicious
Thank you so much 😊
mmmm that looks so tasty! but what is best is the presentation 😍
Thank you so much my Dear, you are very kind 🌸💖🌸
I can see this is packed with protein and goodness! Perfect for chilling rainy day here, Lena!
Thank you so much Dear Icy, I am glad you like it 🌸💖🌸
