If you want to be yourself, be prepared to be disliked. If you want to protect your privacy, be prepared to be the subject of gossip. If you want to have boundaries, be prepared to be considered indifferent or unfriendly. If you're reluctant to explain everything, be prepared to be misunderstood. Being quiet isn't fun for everyone.
