Happy about Leverkusen, but very sad about Arsenal...

It was fun to see Bayer Leverkusen win 5-0 against Köln today, and thus, secure their victory in the German Bundesliga for the first time in history. But, I was even more cheering for Arsenal to win against Aston Villa, and thus keep their spot at the top of the Premier League.

But, with two Aston Villa goals in the last 15 minutes, Arsenal is in need of help to win the Premier League, meaning that Nottingham, Brighton, Tottenham, or one of the other teams Manchester City will play against must play at least a draw against the team from Manchester.

In the first half, Arsenal was the best team on the pitch and they would have deserved a goal, but they never got one. Aston Villa also had their chances and based on the second half, I wouldn't say that it was undeserved for Aston Villa to win the game.

Seeing the 2-2 game against Bayern München last Tuesday, and now this, I become afraid that Arsenal will ruin the season at the end, once again... just like last year. They have managed to stay in the game even longer this season than last year, but with 6 matches left and the knockout stage of the Champions League, it would be nice to see them hold onto the fantastic spring pace until the end.

What do you think? Can Arsenal come back at Manchester City, and also beat Bayern München this Wednesday?
