Kabuto - protective equipment
Kabuto is a Japanese term for head protector made of iron and leather, and is used to protect the head / face from hard objects, sharp weapons, flying objects, and falling objects. Kabuto is used in battle by samurai in the Middle Ages in Japan.
Parents in homes with boys display replicas of Kabuto to celebrate Children's Day on May 5th.
