If I paint a house, I want to be able to say, "I painted that house, it's the result of my work." If someone came along and said they painted it, and the client gave that liar the money instead of me, I'd be pissed. I'm not sure why artists these days have to be treated like shit just because they want the credit and the money for the work they did. For me, personally, I'm an independent artist. Yet I get lumped into this pile of trash just because I want to be able to own what I worked on.

I've heard what you said from thousands of other people. Same words, same script. You think you're 'free thinkers', "can't own a thought." None of these artists even say they want to own thoughts. My only question is how did you and others like you get so deeply brainwashed that you all think the same way. There are artists. We fought governments and corporations to own the rights to our work...and now these dictator type people are trying to take that away from us. It doesn't even make sense.
