Personal Sketchbook drawings | Traditional

in #arts6 years ago (edited)

Hey guys,
So few months ago I retrieved a very old sketchbook of mine that I had started drawing in while in my army days in around 2004 and decided to continue adding new drawings to it! yeah, a bit late I know but its quite interesting to see the transition thematically and technically between those old years and nowdays.

I will be photographing those older pages gradually but wanted to start of with few of the sketches I been adding to it in early 2019.
I hope you like it and thanks for checking!
PS: I love this tiny sketchbook ant its special handcrafted paper made somewhere in Asia.

That looks like a well worn sketchbook. And are you drawing with Pilot G-2 pens? I love those myself if that is the case, they seem to rival much more expensive art pens in terms of evenness of flow and control you can get.

Hello @carlgnash Thank you! its indeed a very well worn sketchbook that survived over 10 years! I like that its actually that worn and has still a nice texture in its pages which makes it fun to draw on. As for the pen, correct! I been using lots of those pilot which I love and totally agree with all the points you made!

Has that thing been everywhere with you?

Are these old ones? They're still great. My pre-2012 stuff should never again see the light of day XD
