Frog Pose Bhekasana

Do I look like a frog 🐸😉?
This pose is from Ashtanga second series (which is my favorite series). I now practice primary, second, and third (work in progress). My teacher throws in some fourth series when we practice (which goes really well!). It’s nice to know so many series. I practice primary when the backs of my legs feel tight or my lower back is killing me. I know the twists and forward folds will help heal my body. I practice second when I feel anxious or sad. The deep back bends will help me release what’s bottles up inside. Third is what I go for most of the time (usually three times a week) because it is what I am learning. It pushes me to the edge- the majority of the series works on strength which is not natural for me. Fourth series mostly asks for flexibility which does come naturally to me. I usually only practice this with my teacher. That series is fun for me 😊. Steemit ashtangis, what’s your favorite series?

That doesn't even look like it should be possible! Hard to even imagine getting there. Kudo's on the level of effort and time it must've taken to get this flexible!
