Game Description
In this game, you try to get as close as possible to 21 points with your cards without exceeding it. The dealer has already drawn a card, which you can see below.
Participation Requirements
- You must upvote this post. Your upvote must have a minimum value of $0.002.
- Your vote must not be changed to below this amount.
Game Rules and Procedure
- Each player receives two cards. These will be communicated to the player in a comment under this post.
- The game runs exactly 5 days after the post is created. During this time, players can participate by upvoting.
- After the game ends, all valid players and the dealer automatically receive additional cards according to the system described below.
- The goal is to get closer to 21 points than the dealer without exceeding 21.
Winning
- You win if your cards are closer to 21 than the dealer's without exceeding 21.
- If you reach 21 points, you automatically win (Blackjack).
Payout
- The winners receive 80% of the total prize money.
- The prize money consists of the liquid author rewards on this post (STEEM, SBD).
- If there is only one winner, they receive the entire prize money.
- If there are multiple winners, the prize money is divided based on the vote strength (rshares):
Example: four players, two winners:
Prize money: $0.80, total vote value of winners: $0.60
Player A: Vote value: $0.15 ➯ 100 × $0.15 / $0.60 ➯ 25% ➯ $0.80 × 25% ➯ Payout: $0.20,
Player B: Vote value: $0.45 ➯ 100 × $0.45 / $0.60 ➯ 75% ➯ $0.80 × 75% ➯ Payout: $0.60,
Cards and Card Values
- There is no limit to the number of individual cards. So theoretically, a 2 can be drawn 10 times.
- Cards from 2 to 10 have their printed value.
- Jack (J), Queen (Q), and King (K) each count as 10 points.
- Ace (A) always counts as 11 points.
Automatic Drawing
It is planned to give the player the option of manual interaction. Until this is implemented, the dealer will automatically draw cards after the game ends according to the following system:
- Additional cards will be drawn until at least 17 points are reached.
- If the player currently has 16 points, another card will be drawn.
- If the player currently has 17 or more points, no further cards will be drawn.
